Terms & Conditions

1.1 The BJJ Academy hereby grants its members permission to access and use its content, subject to the following express conditions, and you agree that your failure to adhere to any of these conditions shall constitute a breach of these terms and conditions on your part: you agree not to access content for any other reason than your personal, non-commercial use solely as intended, and solely for streaming.

“streaming” means a contemporaneous digital transmission of the material through The BJJ Academy website via the internet to a user operated internet enabled device in such a manner that the data is intended for real time viewing and not intended to be downloaded, copied, stored, or redistributed by the user.

TRADEMARK NOTICE

1.2 All Company logos (The BJJ Academy Ltd), artwork, trademarks, and service marks appearing on this Site are the property of The Company.

All other trademarks, service marks and logos used in this Site are the trademarks, service marks or logos of their respective owners.

FREE TRIAL PERIOD

1.3 The BJJ Academy may offer a free-trial period during which you can try out the BJJ Academy for a specified period without prepaying in advance. The duration of this free-trial period will be advertised on the Pricing Plans page of the BJJ Academy site. If you participate in the Free Trial Period associated with the Monthly/ yearly Subscription option, you must cancel your subscription before the end of the period to avoid incurring any charges. If you do not cancel your subscription before the Free Trial Period expires, you authorise us to charge your credit card the full cost chosen subscription plan. Your subscription will then automatically renew and continue month-to-month (year on year) until you cancel your subscription plan, or we terminate it due to failure to charge your card. You will not receive a notice from The BJJ Academy that your Free Trial Period is about to end or has ended.

ACCOUNT CANCELLATION

1.4 The only valid method for cancelling your subscription plan is via your members area: Log in to site, click your member profile at the top of the site, click my SUBSCRIPTIONS in the menu, then proceed to cancel subscription and confirm. Requests to cancel via email, phone, or the message form are not considered and will not accomplish cancellation. If you cancel your plan before the end of your current pre-paid period, you will not be charged again for your plan beginning with the next billing cycle. If you cancel your subscription plan, you will immediately lose all access to The BJJ Academy and forfeit access to the site for the remaining period of your pre-paid period. If you have not manually cancelled your subscription plan, and we are unable to charge you for your recurring payment, your account will be cancelled, and you will no longer have access to The BJJ Academy. We are under no obligation to notify you prior to or when your account is cancelled.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

2.1 This privacy policy is intended to inform you about the information and data gathered by The BJJ Academy when you use this service, how we store your information, information we collect and to the degree your information may be used.

DATE COLLECTED AND ITS USE

2.2 We only collect the personal data you choose to provide us during your registration process. As part of the registration process in order to use The BJJ Academy services you need to provide us with your Full Name, Email Address and Billing information, including credit card data. You may elect to not provide any of the above info, but you will then not be able to use The BJJ Academy services or certain features.

INFORMATION RELATING TO YOUR METHOD OF PAYMENT:
2.3 Payment information is never taken by us or transferred to us either through our website or otherwise. Our employees and contractors never have access to it. At the point of payment, you are transferred to a secure page on the website of WIX Payments. That page may be branded to look like a page on our website, but it is not controlled by us. Wix is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliant and is accredited as a level 1 service provider and merchant.

ANALYTICS:

2.4 We collect and store certain information about your interaction with The BJJ Academy website and services, including cookies, IP Addresses, browser type, device type, location, Internet service provider (ISP), entry and exit pages, operating systems, time/date stamps, and other related data The BJJ Academy uses this information to improve the quality of our services and products. If you choose to decline cookies via your browser, you may have some limitations in The BJJ Academy services.

EMAIL NOTICES

2.5 When you register to use The BJJ Academy services by purchasing a product or setting up an account, your email will automatically be listed in the The BJJ Academy subscriber mailing list. You will receive welcome information, account information, and other information related to The BJJ Academy services and the products you viewed and purchased.

WE USE ANALYTICS

2.6 Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.

Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you, but Google do not grant us access to this. We consider Google to be a third-party data processor.
GA makes use of cookies, details of which can be found on Google’s developer guides. FYI our website uses the analytics.js implementation of GA.

Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.
